On Saturday, April 17, the Cain Middle School Percussion Ensemble competed in the WGI Virtual Season Group Finals in the Percussion Scholastic Concert Regional A Class. WGI Sport of the Arts is the world’s premier organization producing indoor percussion competitions. Members of the CMS Percussion Ensemble rehearsed for many hours during and outside of the school day, including recording sessions for the competitions. The ensemble’s video submissions were critiqued and awarded ratings by judges from around the nation.

The CMS Percussion Ensemble ultimately advanced to WGI Finals and received a “Box 5” rating, which is the highest rating, from both judges this weekend. Their performance can be seen here: “Czars” – CMS Percussion Ensemble

We are incredibly proud of our Cain Mustang Percussionists for their hard work and dedication. Mustangs Matter!
